Santa Barbara Description

Santa Barbara and neighboring Goleta are 90 miles north of Los Angeles and home to about 160,000 people. Although Santa Barbara is well known for its beautiful beaches, mild weather, and wealthy retirees, Santa Barbara is also known as Silicon Beach and is home to a vibrant high technology community. The high technology community is driven in large part by the University of California at Santa Barbara, one of the premier science universities in the world with 5 recent Nobel Laureates. Other strong industries include financial services, real estate and construction, entertainment (due to the proximity to Hollywood), flower growing and wineries. Santa Barbara businesses are often international in scope.

Many Santa Barbara tax professionals are nearing retirement age, and there will be tremendous opportunity in the next ten years for ambitious CPAs willing and able to take care of a diverse group of interesting clients.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor required by law to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Identifying yourself as an individual with a disability is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer will be maintained confidentially and not be seen by selecting officials or anyone else involved in making personnel decisions. Completing the form will not negatively impact you in any way, regardless of whether you have self-identified in the past. For more information about this form or the equal employment obligations of federal contractors under Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
